The mold can send out heat when  the mud solidify to block. And the heat will be absorbed by the block, as the result, the brick will be high-qualified. The combination of the bottom of the mold and the wall of the mold is flexible. One can decrease the investment by buying more bottom and less wall. One can also save the cost by using the cement floor as the bottom of the mold.
